For our client, a global healthcare company based in Basel, Swisslinx is seeking a BUSINESS ANALYST - MASTER AND OPERATIONAL DATA STANDARDS (MODS).

Start date: 1st of September

It's a 6 month contract.

In this challenging role you will be facilitating the standardisation of key data entities with a focus on Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs. This will cover alignment of semantics, list of values, relationships and ownership, followed by impact analysis on business process and systems, and lead to the implementation of relevant changes.

Your main tasks will include, but not limited to: 

- Understand and further develop the MODS methodology;
- Develop solid understanding of projects collaborating with MODS;
- Collaborate with business and informatics stakeholders to understand and document requirements for data standards;
- Help coordinate impact analysis across solutions and processes;
- Drive system and process changes;
- Feed discussion from various projects back into the MODS team;
- Monitor data quality;
- Promote importance of data standards to the organisation.

In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile: 

- Experience in Enterprise Information Management, Master Data Management and Business Analysis;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Passion for data;
- Detail oriented;
- Ability to link business processes with technical capabilities;
- Exposure to Datamodelling and experience working with RDF and Semantic Web development tools (eg. Top Braid Composer) is an advantage;
- Experience working in a global project environment;
- Fluency in English.
