Market Data Business Analyst/BA; Financial, Banking, Market Data/Asset Control;
Experience in anyone of the following or similar Market Data packages is a plus:
Markit Enterprise Data Management (EDM) - Formerly Cadis Software Markit
Asset Control
Golden Source
Eagle Data Management
Netik Market Data
EU-nationality and/or Swiss work-permit is mandatory
I am looking for an experienced Business Analyst with very good knowledge of Market Data Tools/solutions. The successful candidate will be required to involved in the development of the data integration solution and target data model to support the bringing together of financial data from a range of different systems in a consolidated form.
Your role will be to:
To work with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and the other departments such as Finance, Risk, etc
For each issue, understand the impact, assess the priority and look for rapid solutions or workarounds.
Investigate the issues raised by researching for similar incidents, learning the data model and checking the data and service logs.
Work with developers on application requirements helping to prioritize fixes and liaising with end-users for acceptance after researching and diagnosing bugs.

* Knowledge of Banking value chain and products
* Communication skills, customer orientation
* Highly disciplined and process oriented - attention to detail, high level of accuracy
* Outstanding ownership and dedication to the role required
* Analytical skills and validation skills
* Perfect command of English. German is desirable.
* Diplomacy skills, team player and leadership skills
* Systems knowledge: MS Office, Vision and good SQL expertise
* CFA or other Financial accreditation is highly appreciated
* Exposure to following is an asset: Sophis, Market Data
* Awareness and exposure to change management methodologies and best practices.
* Awareness and exposure to systems development practices and methodologies.
* Experience handling multiple requests and queries at the same time
* Continued dedication to providing best of class service at all times
