Business Analyst Job

BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Mclean, VA.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER. POSSESSION OF OR ABILITY TO OBTAIN A DOE ELEVATED PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team.
- Facilitate requirements meetings with business and technology teams
- Identify business process improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
- Function as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
- Gather/analyze/document business requirements leading to the development of a business solution. These are documented in high level requirements documents which then lead to Use Cases, User Stories, wireframes and/or screen mockup.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least five (5) years of experience as Business Analyst
- Be able to work in high paced environment with short deadlines
- Familiar with Rational, Jira, Google docs, SharePoint.
- Ability to quickly understand the business domain.
- Identifies strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement through business process analysis and reengineering
- Highly knowledgeable of the SDLC and extensive experience working with the Agile methodology
- Works effectively in a cross-team environment to solve business problems and/or develop new solutions.
- Identifies critical issues with ease.
