BUSINESS ANALYST III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, Oregon.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Business Analyst III will be preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations in compliance with standards, policies and methodologies.
- Gather and synthesize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy.
- Execute gap analyses between business requirements and best practices. Develop business cases, process and business test strategy, case, and execution.
- BA assignment on Mobile Device Project, primary focus is on analysis of apps to be provided via this program.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- HRIS experience must include a thorough knowledge of applicable reporting tools (ie, Query and Crystal) and record layout/structure to analyze and determine the best method of data retrieval, to prioritize HRMS reporting needs and to work closely with IST.
- Functional and systems knowledge to effectively test applied fixes and changes, provide effective error resolution, and develop applicable and accurate reports and to serve as liaison to IST for interpretation of HR functional needs.
- Strong attention to detail in order to ensure thorough application testing and to verify the accuracy and applicability of reports. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, systems and country needs is also critical. Flexibility and adaptability is also a critical skill in this role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in order to work effectively with employees of all levels.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Six (6) years of experience in business analysis or process development role.
- Typically requires four to seven (4-7) years of related IT experience within a technical discipline.
- Thorough understanding of Business Analysis, Project Methodology, and relevant areas of SDLC.
- Ability to plan tasks and activities required to capture data from stakeholders and translate to required information.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops across all stakeholders.
- Critical thinking: Take data across all stakeholders, filter, challenge, consolidate, and resolve conflicting information/direction.
- Ability to create a quality Project Proposal:
- Well structured
- Concisely written
- Easy to read and comprehend
- Politically astute
- Good use of tables, diagrams, and other figures
- Excellent diplomatic and communication
- Prior experience within Utilities/Power/Electric industries
