BUSINESS ANALYST JML

The Joiners/Movers/Leavers (JML) Program was set up to deliver tactical and strategic JML process enhancements. This program is co-sponsored by the CIO and the Head of HR. We are currently looking for a strong candidate who has extensive experience as a business analyst, ideally within projects or programs focusing on JML processes. Specifically, the technical attributes associated with enhancing existing systems to integrate new features or improvements. Working closely with internal technical teams, this role is an exciting and diversified opportunity for an experienced professional. You are expected to be well versed in business and systems support analysis, willing to go into a deep level of detail while accommodating the big picture view. The successful candidate will work for the JML program (IT Focused) to define and implement the operational and technical enhancements scope.

TASKS

- Determining required solutions and assisting in the implementation as required
- Conduct requirements analysis and prepare proposals for modified or replacement systems
- Support the lead technical architect in documenting the technical enhancement analysis specification
- Work closely with developers, systems architects and in some cases end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Supporting the technical leads, identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
- Creation of process models using software tools, working with stakeholders to agree these models both as-is and to-be, including proactively identifying better processes
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management

SKILLS

- Analytical and conceptual mindset to challenge and automate manual steps in business processes
- Have a good grasp of technology and technological concepts (eg databases, UML)
- A detailed approach to the review and quality assurance of systems specification content
- Experienced in the life cycle of data and how data interacts and impacts processes
- Data analysis experience, including data migration and solving complex data problems across multiple systems
- Detailed experience in process design and implementation with the ability to translate non-functional requirements into comprehensive and concise functional specifications
- Awareness of information security and experience with JML processes is a distinct advantage
- Understanding of & background of network, application and security technologies and concepts including:
- MS Exchange
- MS Office
- Active Directory
- Experience documenting gap analysis and proposed remediation activities
- Experience with identity and access management
