Business Analyst - IT Treasury/Regulatory with excellent SQL skills wanted for one of our Zurich based clients in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Several years of working experience as IT Business Analyst within a banking environment
- Solid working experience in treasury or regulatory reporting beside data and process knowledge
- Excellent SQL skills
- Expertise in derivatives/other banking products, including structured notes, loan commitments especially from a regulatory reporting perspective
- Strong data analysis skills along with experience in documenting requirements, specifications, Use cases etc.
- Ability to evaluate complex problems and detect potential solutions beside technical knowhow of DWH environment
- Degree in Business Analysis or equivalent
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Classifying and evaluating business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and quality)
- Working directly with user/business, project manager, IT developers and other business customers to understand business requirements, objectives and specifications in the treasury or regulatory reporting area for derivatives
- Supporting the team in solution finding within the project along with documenting business requirements and specifications according to the firm's standards
- Assisting the development team on design, logic, architecture and testing, including interfaces from source to target applications according to architectural standard
- Being the key contact for Business and IT on data and process related questions/issues within regulatory reporting and treasury applications, processes and strategies
