Business Analyst IT - Datamodelling/Tax

Business Analyst IT with profound Datamodelling/TAX knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 5+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst
- EXTENSIVE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN SQL AND DATAMODELLING IS A MUST
- Strong background in tax projects along with an understanding of the software development life cycle
- Knowledge in tax products such as Easytax, or any similar products is a plus
- Having strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
- Adequate development skills especially in Java is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is beneficial

YOUR TASKS:

- Measuring existing set-up in terms of data model (format, attributes, sourcing), cleansing activities, reconciliation
- Identifying gaps and improvement areas against defined target operating model, robustness, scalability and flexibility requirements
- Specifying high level and detailed requirements to close the gaps and implement the enhancement
- Prioritizing gaps and optimization measures as well as establishing a roadmap to cover tactical and strategic enhancements
- Working closely with SME's to ensure that risks and issues are highlighted and escalated in a timely fashion for decision in project working groups
