Business Analyst IT wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 7+ years' background as an IT Business Analyst, additional experience in other technical roles advantageous
- Familiarity with different technical areas like IT infrastructure and Information Security with know-how of all stages of the Software Development process, experience in eDiscovery and Data Analytics desirable
- Business analysis methodology and experience with an autonomous, efficient and structured approach and manner of working, eg Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML, and experience in working with vendors and 3rd party products
- A proactive and independent work style, excellent organisational and time-management skills paired with strong analytical and problem solving skills and high awareness of quality and deadlines
- High degree of initiative and commitment to high quality on-time delivery and flexibility to undertake an array of assignments
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German beneficial
YOUR TASKS:
- Evaluating high level requirements with regard to feasibility and efforts like costs and benefit, identifying the influence on interfacing solutions
- Offering detailed requirement specifications including acceptance criteria, proposing scope spans from software implementation to infrastructure related issues
- Ensuring 3rd party vendors' products meet the business requirements
- Supporting the project manager in the administration of the projects, assuring that business requirements are met
- Reviewing test cases, supporting the testing units in test design and execution
