For a long term month project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST - IFRS/US GAAP (4724)
You will support the new impairment guidance for credit losses mandated by FASB and IASB. This project of designing, constructing and implementing processes and controls to deliver timely and accurate presentation and disclosures covers both the end-to-end process/controls as well as specific IT developments to enable delivery of the required presentation and disclosures.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE AS A BUSINESS ANALYST WITHIN GLOBAL REGULATORY PROJECTS
- IN-DEPTH EXPERIENCE IN IFRS OR US_GAAP ACCOUNTING STANDARDS
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/MBA or IT background with project experience
- Good knowledge in banking products (loans, SLB, risk models etc.)
- FLUENT ENGLISH (ORAL/WRITTEN)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation and execution of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT
- Documentation of the steps for deployment
- Performs User training where required
