For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Business Analyst:

START: 31.08.15

Duration: 5 months

Location: Zürich

Project Specifics:

Strategic HR program co-sponsored by the CIO and the Head of HR and includes both technical and operational enhancements.

Responsibilities

- Working closely with business representatives, this role is an exciting and diversified opportunity for an experienced professional. You are expected to be well versed in business analysis and willing to go into a deep level of detail while still entertaining the big picture view
- Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Assist with the construction of the Target Operating Model
- Create recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management

Skills

- Analytical and conceptual mindset to challenge and automate manual steps in business processes, have a good grasp of technology and technology concepts (eg databases, UML), as well as pay careful attention to details in system specifications
- Detailed experience in process design and implementation (good knowledge of and experience with HR processes (joiners, movers, leavers) is a distinct advantage)
- The ability to analyse complex systems; strong analytical and conceptual skills, quality awareness
- Client-orientation
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Very good written and spoken English. Project requires political finesse with many stakeholders, many of whom are senior
- Ability to strike the right level of detail depending on project phase, time and quality requirements
- Experience documenting and defining target operating models is desired
- Experience with identity and access management is desired
- A self-starter who is able to use their own initiative and drive key deliverables
- "Get-it-done" and continuous improvement attitude
