Business Analyst for Data Management Team with Aladdin Implementation

For a project at our banking clients site here in Zurich we are looking for a

BUSINESS ANALYST FOR DATA MANAGEMENT TEAM WITH ALADDIN IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE (3074)

Our client will introduce Aladdin, a Solutions tool for the portfolio modelling, risk analysis, reporting etc to be used by Portfolio Managers. This position focuses on the implementation of this tool.

ROLE:

- To represent Data Management
- Be the single point of contact and coordinator for Data Management relevant tasks and processes
- Establish business processes to maintain the relevant data sections within the Aladdin product
- Design the operational framework to include Aladdin related activities and processes into the daily Data Management business framework and information flow
- Introduce adequate reconciliations between various Data Management tools
- Ensure proper control mechanisms are being implemented
- Define, review and implement business processes and validations in collaboration with the Head Data Management
- Propose test scenarios and perform relevant UAT tasks

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- KNOWLEDGE OF THE ALADDIN TOOL (BLACKROCK SOLUTIONS TOOL) IS A MUST
- Proven track record within hybrid IT/Business/Banking role (eg activities with data vendors: Bloomberg, Factset, Rimes, Reuters, etc, or securities application support, business analysis and mid office operations roles)
- Thorough understanding of the securities industry product range (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX etc)
- Experience in Indices & Benchmarks, including blending of custom benchmarks, carve out, segmentation and hedging would be beneficial
- Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently, but a strong team player
- Fluent English required, German would be an asset
