Business Analyst - Financial Services - Banking - Commercial Banking

A leading retail bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with financial services or banking experience.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME

In the March 2015 budget, the Chancellor announced from 6th April 2016 intent to introduce a new tax free allowance of £1000 for Basic rate tax payers (£500 for high rate tax payers) on credit interest earned through interest bearing accounts. The scope of this intent also extends to qualifying non personal account eg sole traders. Through further consultation with HMRC it has now been agreed to amend the Tax Deduction Scheme for Interest (TDSI) effectively requiring the banks to pay gross credit interest to all customers across all product types (savings and current) eg Partnerships etc. Also in scope will be accounts that attract annual interest and compensation payments. This project will need to identify all products in scope, tariff amendments, system/application amends and changes to collateral including brochure ware/Internet pages, forms T's&C's etc.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

To investigate the all areas of impact including:

- Identification of all products
- Systems/application changes required
- Collateral changes required including forms, web based information, letters T'& C's etc.
- Associated processes including sales/onboarding/maintenance
- Delivery of Business Analysis plan and associated governance deliverables.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Excellent business analysis in order to help finalise scope and produce detailed requirements.
- This should be within a financial/banking environment.
- Ability to deal with Senior stakeholders
