My client is a leading Financial Services organisation based in the West Midlands area. They are seeking several Business Analysts to join them ASAP for contract assignments. The rates and salaries being offered are competitive.

GTO Regional Management, the bank´s hub for regional governance and regulatory framework as well as our partners from Finance, Human Resources, Audit, Operational Risk and Legal make GTO complete.

Infrastructure GT Risk is the technology partner to the Risk divisions of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Risk Analytics and Instrumentation, Operational Risk and Corporate Security & Business Continuity. This includes definition of the IT strategy and provision of solutions to allow Risk to manage all aspects of risk from the analysis of counterparty credit risk to the protection of the Bank's infrastructure and information.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual who wants build their analytical and functional skills within a Risk IT environment. The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing the requirements and requests from the business as well as identifying and assessing change needs. The Business Analyst captures and documents requirements, analyzes the impact of changes and supports the business throughout the implementation process.

The Business Analyst supports the Lead Business Analyst in communicating and reporting the status of service level agreement and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibility:
* Collects and documents business requirements and feed specifications
* Participates in the creation of supporting documentation
* Understands the end to end Counterparty Credit Risk process and how indicators are used to support this process
* Supports obtaining sign-off of business requirements
* Liaises with programme/project managers, clients, functional analysts and developers as appropriate to ensure solution design and implementation is in line with the business requirements
* Supports creation of business cases outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
* Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates
* Supports and co-ordinates UAT, defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients
* Performs data analysis to support tasks as required

Essential Skills
* Experience in Business Analysis and Financial Services
* Excellent product knowledge in derivatives and securities financing, including understanding of main risk factors for these products
* Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
* Good analytical and problem solving experience
* Good grasp of credit process in capital markets products.
* Basic knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
* Intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
* Awareness of Quality Management tools and techniques
* Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
* Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixed organizations
* Ability to manipulate and work with large volumes of data
* Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
* Fluent in English (written/verbal) additional language(s) are an advantage
* Knowledge in MS Office products
