BUSINESS ANALYST - FINANCE/ACCOUNTING/ACTUARIAL - this is a long term contract opportunity to join a global financial services company for a business critical project. The focus of the role will involve working closely with IT and business users in the area of fielding and actuarial analysis on a new reserving process. Further to this you will also be involved in the full life cycle of a rollout of new fuctionality for an existing in-house tool.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 7+ years Business Analysis experience within the financial sector
- Solid understanding of accounting/finance or actuarials
- Good mathematical and business understanding
- Database knowledge (DB2, SQL and Excel) and strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- English is a must - German is a plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Gathering and analysing the business requirements for the new solution
- Working closely with IT, business and other customer/stakeholders
- Translating requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure correct implementation of business requirements
- Involved in the testing life cycle
- Documenting system tests as well as managing the user acceptance test including the rollout
