Business Analyst - Finance

My client is a large organisation who are looking for an exceptional Business Analyst with Finance skills to join their team for an initial 3 month contract. The role is based in Sydney's CBD and the successful candidate will have strong finance analytical business analyst experience.

STANDARD BUSINESS ANALYST SKILLS NEEDED:

- Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring
- Requirements Analysis and Management
- Business Process Engineering/Re-engineering
- Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Testing, etc

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS WILL NEED TO BE MET FOR THIS ROLE:

- Financial Data validation/Data testing participation:
- Agent & distribution data reconciliation
- Program banking solution reconciliation
- Weekly invoice & GL reconciliation
- Reporting reconciliation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCES

- Able to handle complex financial reconciliations & analysis in a commercial setting.
- Excel based data analysis, leveraging pivot tables, vlookup, Sumif, Countif, etc.
- Ability to develop understanding of business process that's unique to each division. Enable overall gap analysis and increases ability to find holes in the data set.
- Ability to develop working relationships that facilitate resolution of queries over long distances.
