Business Analyst - EMIR; Zurich

One of our major clients is looking for a Business Analyst - EMIR regulation in their Zurich Office

Requirements:
Full end to end understanding of the EMIR regulation and compliance relevant topics in general, including respective elements and current gaps/challenges, and the ability to challenge interpretations thereof.

Advanced experience/know-how around how key elements resulting from implementing the EMIR regulation. (ie handling dividend equivalents and related credit risks)

Provide support/guidance in implementing the necessary elements

Previous experience in trade reporting

Deep understanding Trade process front to back around derivatives

Has experience in dealing with data crunching/analysis in SQL/Oracle databases

All of the usual Business analyst skills:

- Taking up requirements from stakeholders, carrying out business analysis and documenting project specifications
- Review specifications with Subject Matter Experts
- Working with development team to obtain work estimates
- Testing new developed functionality and providing feedback on quality of development (bug reporting and follow up
- Analytical and logical mind-set
- Writing skills ie ability to describe complex problems in a simple manner
