BUSINESS ANALYST, DWH, BANKING (12 MONTH CONTRACT CONTRACT, ZURICH)

For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst with a background working on DWH or Business Intelligence projects to work on a cross border settlements initiative in Zurich.

This is a 12 month contract with a strong chance of renewal.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

- Several years of working experience as Business Analyst/Requirements Engineering in the financial services industry
- Technical know-how of DWH or Business Intelligence implementation projects in an international environment, including knowledge of data quality management, data integrator, feeder management etc
- Ideally experience in a private banking environment
- Knowledge of business processes within Operations an asset
- Knowledge of cash and/or security settlement flows strongly encouraged
- SQL knowhow
- Proactive personality with strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (German nice to have)

In your role as Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer you will work in a team in the private banking area. You will be responsible for overall definition and analysis of business requirements and the delivery of functional applications as part of a global settlements program.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Responsibility for project- and application related requirements engineering work products in terms of time, budget and quality as well as to provide planning input for the IT project managers regarding requirements engineering tasks
- Propose efficient solutions for the business requirements by analysing, evaluating and prioritizing various solution options as well as challenging business requirements in a proactive way
- Review and analyses business and I
- T-application models and documents, maintain requirements project and application documentation
- Interact with business, IT and test experts from various areas within the bank (CH and international)
- Support the test manager and testing team by active communication and reviewing test cases
- Support offshore cooperation by actively improving processes, communication and cultural understanding
