Business Analyst - Credit Risk

For our client, a Swiss Bank, Harvey Nash is looking for a

... BUSINESS ANALYST - CREDIT RISK ...

for a 12 months project in Zurich, Switzerland.

Your tasks:

- Elicits, analyzes, models and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within application development projects in the Credit Risk domain. The applications involved in these projects are used to process and manage corporate clients/credits for the Private Banking area (credit request initiation and client analysis).
- Identifies all the affected applications and interfaces and perform a stakeholder analysis.
- Estimates effort and plans tasks for requirements engineering related project tasks.
- Creates and signs off requirements engineering deliverables (use cases/use case model, business object model, domain object model; business rule, screen, report, interface, workflow and non-functional requirements specifications, storage concepts, project requirements list) on time and with high quality.
- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members.
- Develops functional area expertise with business engineering process standards, tools and techniques.
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation and testing phase.
- Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables.

Your profile:

- 5 or more years of experience within requirements engineering in application development projects.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (business project managers, user representatives/subject matter experts, developers, offshore resources, testers etc.) and in general good communication skills.
- Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Experience in banking or finance industry - preferred Credit Risk PB area.
- Advanced knowledge of requirements engineering techniques and tools (UML, data modelling, process modelling, Odyssey, JIRA, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, MS Office products, HP ALM, SQL, etc.).
