BUSINESS ANALYST -CBAP, IREP- IT SECURITY MONITORING- SDLC, RUP, JIRA- ENGLISH AND GERMAN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- IT Security Monitoring
- Define complete logical model with use cases correlations of data elements (events and reference data)
- Identify additionally required feeds
- Prepare input to platform standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gathering requirements from and negotiating them with business stakeholders
Establishing adequate Requirement work products while taking in account quality, effort and timeline
Complete, consistent and reconciled Requirement work products
Effort estimation regarding Requirement work products
Detect the dependencies which are impacting the project
Finding solutions to business problems as part of the overall strategic roadmap
Evaluating existing processes and optimizing them in terms of efficiency and risk mitigation
Contribute information to IT Project Manager regarding risks and issues
Ensure that Requirements are understood by all members of the project team
Work closely with Engineers and Technical Architects to develop feasible and economical solutions
Define Requirements acceptance criteria in a form that enables the testing organization to develop test assets
TASKS
Collaborate within the Pre-Inception Team in the Demand Management Process
Estimate business analysis efforts
Support the Program/Project Manager and SPM Organization
Identify and document the main Stakeholders and other sources (eg existing systems, regulations) for Requirements
Translate Stakeholder Requests into Features and Requirements
Elicit, analyse, negotiate, validate and communicate Requirements and their respective impact on different Stakeholders
Reconcile Requirements with different Stakeholders and ensures communication and traceability
Specify working products along defined principles, guidelines and modelling processes using the appropriate tools
Gather and validate acceptance criteria for Requirements and review Test Cases in close
collaboration with the dedicated Test Manager
Define product Requirements
Act as a partner and support Project-/Program Managers and SPM along the project life cycle, especially for Requirements Management
Prepare user interface mock-ups
Edit support and end-user documentation as well as release guides
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science, Management or related field or equivalent experience
Industry best practice qualifications (eg CBAP, IREP) are a clear advantage
Proven record in an Infrastructure/Technical Business Analyst role
Strong business analysis skills (especially documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements) with a proven record of project participation and delivery
Knowledge of Unified Modelling Language
Ability to manage client expectations and control/deliver the project despite possible changes to requirements and scope
Proven ability to work in a large enterprise environment. Experience working in complex
organization is a clear asset
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and ability to interact with both the IT and the business stakeholders.
German communication skills are an asset
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Working knowledge of project/development life cycles (SDLC), working knowledge of RUP is an asset
Experience in the area of IT Security is a clear advantage
Experience using JIRA as a tool to manage requirements is an asset
