Business Analyst - Cash management
Strong Cash management experience is required from the Business Analyst
Tasks required of the Business Analyst:
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the correct functioning and the further enhancement of my client's Notional Pooling engine and its peripheral applications. In doing so, you will closely work together with the Product Manager, helping to discover, analyse and define new requirements in the context of the Notional Pooling offer, and making sure these requirements are met in a timely and efficient way.
More concretely:
- You play a major role in testing the Cross-border Notional Pooling engine and its peripheral applications.
- You will be responsible for putting in place an industrialized test approach and to ease the release process.
- You contribute to a number of projects linked to my client's Liquidity Management offering.
- You will help create tools for putting at disposal relevant product information of sales teams and management.
- You contribute to the definition of Business Requirements and translate them to Functional Specifications.
- You work closely together with internal and external IT providers, making sure that the designed solutions are geared at responding to the business needs.
Key skills required of the Business Analyst
Experience required of the Business Analyst:
- Experience in software testing and test automation/industrialization
- Experience in autonomously managing small projects
- 3 years of relevant experience is required from the above
Technical experience required of the Business Analyst:
- Affinity with banking
- Cash management experience
- Experience with Visual Basic for excel is a plus
- Basic knowledge of some test automation software will be appreciated (QuickTestPro eg)
- Affinity with Management Accounting is a plus
- Being acquainted with the use of Quality Center (ALM) is a plus
- CMMI3 experience is a plus
Language requirements of the Business Analyst:
- English and French.
- Dutch would be an asset
Personal skills required of the Business Analyst:
- Good analytical skills
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
- Stress resilient
- Team player
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
- Good Communication and Influencing skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment

About the role of Business Analyst:
My client is a financial services institution and is looking for someone to start mid March. The initial contract will run for at least 1 year (length is currently undefined). I will provide additional information about the role to suitable consultants.
