Business Analyst (Basel Regulatory) - Zurich - Contract

For our client in Zurich we are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Basel III program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner with the business to understand and document functional requirements and business processes
- Interact with IT to develop solutions to support required change implementation
- Perform testing for regulatory reporting system (test case execution, defect management)
- Liaise with other departments where synergies and dependencies arise
- Support business department during their testing phase

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Previous experience as a Business Analyst
- Extensive experience with Basel regulatory reporting
- Good knowledge of financial accounting and consolidation process
- Understanding of system architecture in general
- Good SQL skills for testing activities
- Experience with Quality Center or a similar testing tool
- Result oriented and with the ability to work very structured
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, German would be a strong advantage
