Business Analyst - Axiom - Regulatory Reporting
The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing the requirements and requests from the business as well as identifying and assessing change needs. The Business Analyst captures and documents requirements, analyse the impact of changes and support the business throughout the implementation process.
The Business Analyst supports the Lead Business Analyst in communicating wand reporting the status of service level agreement and key performance indicators (KPIs).
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
- Collects functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with Functional business analysts
- Creates supporting documentation eg Functional Specifications based on business requirements, non-functional requirements
- Supports obtaining sign-off on functional & non-functional specifications
- Liaises with functional analysts and developers as appropriate to ensure solution design and implementation is in line with the functional specifications
- Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates on implementation
- Supports End to End testing, systems integration testing and UAT, defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients
- Performs data analysis to support tasks as required
EXPERIENCE/EXPOSURE:
- Experience in Business Analysis and Financial Services
- Experience in Axiom reporting tool and proficient in ANSI SQL
- Good analytical and problem solving experience
- Basic knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
- Intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
- Awareness of Quality Management tools and techniques
- Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirement
- Ability to work in a faced pace environment
- Excellent communications skills
- Fluent in English (written/verbal) additional languages(s) are an advantage
- Knowledge in MS Office products
