Business Analyst/Asset Management/Financials/Capital Markets

BUSINESS ANALYST/CAPITAL MARKETS/MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT/

One of our international clients in The Netherlands is currently looking for a Business Analyst with Asset management experience

You have:

- Proven experience in performing business analysis including gathering and developing business requirements;
- The candidate has proven experience in dealing with CAPITAL MARKETS, DERIVATIVES, FX, MM
- Proven experience in translating business requirements into functional requirements;
- At least 5-10 years of experience in working in the asset management industry and should be well aware of the chain of events from Front to Back Office;
- Understanding the Asset Management operating model is a pre-condition;
- From a business analysis and change management point of view the candidate should have experience in or have knowledge about: project management (ie Prince2), business process design and optimization, operating models (asset management industry), delivering functional interface designs;
- Experience working on MARKIT EDM

To bring the predefined deliverables to successful completion the candidate should also have more specific knowledge and qualifications.

- The candidate has proven experience in Asset Management Back Office processes with a focus on Client and or Fund Accounting and Reporting processes;
- The candidate needs in depth knowledge about the full range of financial instruments, in terms of product characteristics and life cycle processes;
- The candidate should have experience with designing control frameworks and exception based event processing and accounting and reporting processes
- The candidate should have expert knowledge about fund characteristics, fund events and their accounting consequences (eg dividend distribution, fee handling and cash sweeping).
- The candidate needs in depth knowledge about the full range of financial instruments, in terms of product characteristics and life cycle processes;
