BUSINESS ANALYST/REGULATORY REPORTING
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Business Analyst/Requirements Engineering with extensive regulatory reporting experience. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. ESSENTIAL:
- Gathering, refining and elaborating on Business and Regulatory requirements.
- Production of quality documentation including Business Requirements and Technical Specifications.
- Ongoing business engagement during all phases of the project from initial requirements gathering into production.
- Working with the development and QA teams in an agile approach to deliver requirements in a number of iterations.
- Coordination and collaboration with your counterparts across applications and teams - including other BAs, project managers, testing teams, developers, business sponsors.
- Experience with relevant tools and best practices eg Enterprise Architect, Use-case analysis, QualityCenter, JIRA, Subversion.
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Banking IT experience (especially regulatory driven) with exposure to both the Business and IT highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work alone or as part of a team, can take direction but also show initiative. Able to work as part of a global team.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- Specific Regulatory Reporting experience eg Dodd Frank, Emir and the general reporting requirements.
- OTC product knowledge, familiarity with the structures of the various asset classes.
