Business Analyst (AML) - Halifax

Based in Halifax a proven Business Analyst is required on a contract basis to work on a large scale Global AML programme for a major retail bank.

Candidates must have experience of working within Business Change projects within the banking/financial services environment including experience of AML (anti-money laundering)

You will manage and control the delivery of project or workstream components ensuring delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives, ensuring that the benefits identified in the business case are realised.

Key Accountabilities:

- Contribute to the research & analysis of new concepts/ideas, and reviews of existing systems and processes, recommending specific options
- Develop and maintain effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues
- Use the established project methodologies to monitor project timescales and budgets, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs
- Timely and accurate completion of own project deliverables, assessing and managing risks and identifying counter measures.
