Job Title: IT - Business Analyst IT (4)
Job Description: Project Context:
Beside the general requirements for a BA, the candidate needs to have strong technical background (with understanding of REST based web service technology) due to the fact that a new client facing application called SISMA will allow fully automated on-line onboardings of future WM clients in UK. Therefore SISMA requests a technical integration of COSIMA to allow COSIMA checks to be done automatically.
A Business Analyst analyses any business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures and develops proposals for change or enhancement. This role would typically be found in a project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
Key Deliverables:
Process documentation
Business requirements documentation Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
Work Experience: Minimum 8 Years
Scope and complexity of role: Level 4 staff act as recognized experts in their area and usually work on multiple products and/or processes of medium to high complexity. They may be involved in coordinating activities, eventually of strategic nature that go beyond their own area. They coach colleagues, demonstrating excellence in their professional area. They identify cross-functional opportunities, contributing to the acceptance of change in the wider organization.
Autonomy: Level 4 staff usually operate autonomously and are role models to others.
Organizational impact: Level 4 staff contribute to the achievement of financial results and secure cost and efficiency savings as well as help protect the bank's reputation. They actively initiate actions in changing the bank's processes and procedures that are beyond their own unit.
