BUSINESS ANALYST - BASEL - 100%
If you are a BUSINESS ANALYST with EXPERIENCE IN PROCUREMENT, then you are THE person we looking for!
This very exciting opportunity is a CONTRACTING POSITION for 18 MONTHS for one of the BIGGEST BANKING PLAYERS based in BASEL.
The project:
- Act as an interface between the project team and key business areas to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the Source-to-Pay system.
- Analyse and optimize procurement and sourcing processes and define related business requirements.
- Support business areas, facilitate workshops and provide technical expertise for the sourcing and procurement team.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of project deliverables. Liaise with developers/technical leads for the implementation of the requirements and devise test plans.
- Manage and disseminate documentation; coach technical and non-technical staff and provide end-user training and first and second level user support.
You bring for this role the following qualifications:
- University degree
- Fundamental knowledge of relevant business applications (Source-to-Pay systems); knowledge of business process modelling techniques
- Ability to document complex system specifications and experience developing and executing test plans
- Project management skills a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Flexible, service-oriented and able to perform under pressure
- Able to function effectively both in a team environment and independently
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at a range of levels
- Fluent in English
- 5 years' experience as a business analyst in a procurement environment
