Business Analyst

My client is one of the largest banking groups in the UK and is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a global operation.

The appointed Business Analyst will be working within a small team of BA's and will:

* Undertake analysis of business processes;
* Engage in all areas impacted by the project to establish the scope of any remedial work required, including by building relationships outside the business unit, both internally and externally;
* Create and manage the project plan to meet deliverables identified during the analysis phase;
* Monitor and measure progress in line with plans and milestones.

Experience:

* A proven track record demonstrating a knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML)
* Planning and organisation skills;
* Demonstrable experience dealing with large amounts of data and varied projects;
* A robust understanding of project documentation;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
* People Management skills and experience: the BA will lead delivery and manage daily tasks for 1 junior analyst;
* A strong sense of self development;
* An ability to communicate at senior management level.

The role will be based in Edinburgh and the successful candidate will receive a maximum rate of £300 per day. The contract will initially last for a 6 month period.
