Salary: €300 - €400 Euro per day DOE
Contract Type: 8 Month Contract
BUSINESS ANALYST
Our client a leading Telecommunications organisation is seeking a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST to join their team Based in Dublin City.
The Business Analyst main responsibility is to help business managers add value to their businesses through the exploitation of effective, business-aligned processes and information systems; and to act as the link between the business and technical perspectives in the development and exploitation of Technology services.
BUSINESS ANALYST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides the "vital link" between business and Technology Solution development, while providing knowledge and advice in own areas of expertise.
- Assists with the definition of business processes, scenarios and solution requirements
- Leads the design of business processes and definition of business requirements
- Support planning of required Technology solutions.
- Leads on the analysis and definition of Business Processes and supporting documentation.
- Builds expertise in a particular focus area, and is aware of business and Technology strategy, activity and changes in that area.
- Understands and follows the agreed processes and methodologies, working individually or as part of a team.
- Leads the process of identifying, describing and realising opportunities for the development and use of information systems. Gains management approval for such initiatives.
- Acts as consultant to team and customers on integrating business needs and Technology solutions.
- Scopes and creates test plans and test data, mapping back to requirements.
- Maintains the integrity of the test environment.
- Sets standards and techniques for test environment, advises on application and ensures compliance.
BUSINESS ANALYST KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- The experienced Business Analyst will have over three years' experience of defining business processes, scenarios and solution requirements.
- They will have a broad familiarity with the solution development process
- They will have a strong understanding in one or more of the following; Wholesale business; Mobile Business; systems and processes
- Good knowledge of key international technology and communications trends for individual market areas
- Strong business problem solver
- Strong Process modelling and Use Case analysis skills
- Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong at creating strategies for alternative functional workarounds
- Strong at working in high ambiguity situations and confidence in own ability to "figure it out" when the way is unclear
- Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong at mapping complex business requirements into use cases and call flows
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must have full working rights in Ireland ie (a current Stamp 4 Visa or a EU Passport to be eligible to work in Ireland) to be considered for this role
