Business Analyst

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

*IMPORTANT NOTE, THIS IS NOT AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST.

KNOWLEDGE OF BUSINESS OBJECTS, SAP, AND RELATIONAL DATABASES IS PREFERRED, BUT THIS IS MORE OF A NON-TECHNICAL, DYNAMIC, BUSINESS ANALYST.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform duties as Subject Matter Expert regarding Commissions systems functionality.
- Serves as primary liaison with MIS, and business stakeholders regarding reporting, data management, workflow and changes.
- Develops business requirements and provides documentation to MIS for enhancements
- Conducts testing to ensure changes are in Sox compliance for system code releases
- Develop and distribute reporting for both internal SCA needs and external business needs
- Drives enhancements, standardization and efficiency initiatives.
- Owns the implementation and responds timely to business requests, proactively provide collaborative and innovative ideas
- Deliver training and obtain feedback from external stakeholders
- Delivers training, process design and documentation for internal SCA team.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders and business partners to address changes in data management, workflow or policy/procedures, compensation plans, incentives, etc. that could impact commissions.
- Provide customer focused professional and proactive communication to internal teams and external customers in professional, clear and concise manner.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and special projects as defined by the needs of the business

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science required
- 5+ years of related experience
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, ability to adapt to change, and attention to detail
- Capable of exercising independent judgment and recognize the critical financial impact to the business. Strong business acumen and general understanding of Finance
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment
- Able to interact with various levels of the organization
- Apply subject matter expertise, and identify and solve problems quickly
- Creative, innovative and able to successfully seek and seize opportunities as they develop

PREFERRED:

- Proven ability to learn new applications and previous experience using Business Objects, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, and SAP .
