Business Analyst

This position will be supporting manufacturing IT solutions. Seeking a motivated self-starter to join the Global Manufacturing Execution Systems (GMES) Support team. The GMES Support team is a fast paced, highly technical team looking for an contractor that is ready to hit the ground running. The Contractor will be tasked with supporting the global use of the internal application.

ON A DAILY BASIS, RESOURCE WILL:
Assist manufacturing sites in troubleshooting complex system errors and issues
Provide workarounds for system issues impacting day-to-day operations
Escalate system defects to the vendor and coordinate patches.
Coordinate validation activities with internal SQA and Validation teams and deployment activities with numerous global manufacturing sites
Communicate status of issues to management and client manufacturing sites

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Understanding of application development and database/SQL skills are required.
- Requires applied understanding of SDLC.
- Applicant should have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems is a plus.
