For the Finance department within the Business Unit Financial & Mobility Solutions in Almere, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST

As a Business Analyst you will be supporting both the commercial and the finance domain with (pro-active) analyses on main developments on the whole portfolio in order to optimize the returns of Financial Systems and Mobility Systems. The Business Financial Analyst is also the senior employee on location and the first point of contact for the Manager Business & Risk Portfolio Analysis, he/she coordinates work and is responsible for more complex projects and business consulting.

You are responsible for:

- Define and develop reports mainly focussed on forward looking.
- Complex (ad hoc) analyses on request of Business.
- Pro-actively analyse developments on mainly portfolio and revenues components.
- Perform (periodic) more complex analyses (trend analysis, scenario analysis, what-if analysis).
- Understanding business needs and translating these into analytical requirements.
- (Pro-actively) advise, monitor and support the BU on finance matters and the risk based pricing process, in order to be compliant with external and internal rules and regulations and improve results for BU.
- Participating/leading strategic finance projects
- Liaising with business stakeholders

IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE:

- A Master degree in Business Economics, econometrics or related study.
- A Few years relevant working experience within the Financial Services industry.
- Gained knowledge of databases, programming in Visual Basics and knowledge of Business Objects is a pre.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
