Business Analyst

A government Department in Canberra seeks the services of experienced Business Analysts who are required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. This includes assisting with the development of hypotheses, lead research and analysis and write clear, well-structured reports and presentations. This role involves working within high impact projects under the Intelligence Reform Programme, often involving complex and detailed analysis of current business and/or industry performance in order to facilitate a business decision.

Selection Criteria

- A proven outcome-oriented approach to be resourceful and highly organised with proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
- A structured and lateral thinking style with the intellectual capability to quickly understand and apply new concepts
- The ability to work in and contribute to a high performing, innovative, collaborative team environment and demonstrated understanding of client needs and sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional Business Analysis skills encompassing Strategic Planning, mapping and modelling Development

This is a contract role upto 30th June, 2015 with further 12 months extension possibilities.

Australian citizenship is required and a Security Clearance of NV1 is highly desirable.
