Projektbeschreibung

We are seeking a Business Analyst that will be a part of the department that supports analytics and agency outreach. Together, these two teams have been tasked with scoping, developing, modelling, implementing, and delivering robust statistical data analytics on payment data to identify and prevent potential fraudulent and improper payments and engaging federal program agencies that will take action on that information.

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between technical analysts, other banks business analysts and the customer in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation of the Do Not Pay portal.

Define and document agency functions and existing processes used to identify improper payments; identify potential gaps and provide recommendations for how DNP can assist.

Analyze the feasibility of, and support the development of requirements for, new systems and enhancements to new or existing systems while ensuring the final design fits the needs of the users.

Engage and facilitate discussions with Program agencies to identify business rules for use in assessing payments data for improper payments.

Identify opportunities for improving business processes through technical and/or operational changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.

Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents business rules, functions and requirements.

Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

Develop release documentation to be used by the support staff and end-users in understanding the enhancements to the system.

Act as a project lead on designated projects or assignments.

Develop effective working relationships with Treasury clients and other project stakeholders.

Interact with Treasury clients and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience in related field
Experience working with Agile Scrum methodology preferred
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), relationship management, and customer service skills with a focus on working effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong organizational, time management, and follow up skills required
Ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex problems and improve quality and service
Ability to perform involved and independent research and analysis
Ability to present and convey results of analyses to various audiences
Ability to manage multiple projects and work processes in a timely fashion
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
Knowledge of analytical and statistical software packages such as SAS, R, Stata, Matlab, Eviews, or S-plus is a plus
Six Sigma certification is a plus
