BACKGROUND:
My client, a leading financial institution has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst on a long term contract basis. 6 years' experience working on web-based projects is essential.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To represent business area and communicate and influence stakeholders in a positive manner
- Represent the business area at various support model design sessions, provide relevant input and capturing requirements
- Write detailed end to end solution proposal document, including architectural diagrams, business process flow etc.
- Coordinate with business units and other IT personnel to elicit and elaborate system requirements, and to create and document system specifications, user stories, process flows, and prototypes
- Conduct business reviews with stakeholders to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Internet, current web technology - including familiarity with Client Server networking, relational database structures and data warehousing
- Microsoft Office skills are essential, SQL would be beneficial
- Experience with single sign on, Active Directory and/or LDAP would be a plus
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience with medium/large web projects
