Project Overview

This position is to work on a new initiative within the Corporate Finance division of a multi-national blue chip banking corporation. The objective of the project is to improve collaboration across internal teams by automating manual processes and re-engineering corporate finance activities onto a new application with additional functionality.

This project has recently begun and a high-calibre Business Analyst is required to help analyse the requirements and put together functional specifications which would then be then be translated and developed by the Internal IT team. The Business Analyst is also required to support the project through the system development life cycle including testing, implementation and go-live support.

Essential Competencies:

* 5 years+ BA experience including 2-3 years in Investment Banking

* End-to-end system development life cycle (SDLC) experience from requirements and process mapping, functional design, build, test, implementation to post production support

* Prior Functional Specification Documentation (FSD) experience as the selected candidate would be responsible for creation of FSD in response to business requirements

* Demonstrated experience as key conduit between business and technology

* Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills

Advantageous Competencies:

* Experience in Corporate Finance

* Basic technical language - SQL, Java

* Hands-on experience of any Process Modeling tool - eg ARIS, Visio
