Business Analyst

- EARLY OCTOBER START
- INITIAL 8 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is seeking an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST to gather business and system requirements, and assist with the selection, development and delivery of integrated solutions to meet those requirements for a Digital Storage Solution project.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Drive the design, documentation and development of business requirements and functional and non-functional specifications using context diagram and process models
- Facilitate workshops with potential end users, service delivery providers and stakeholders
- Evaluate proposed system solutions with system developers
- Prepare system and UAT plans and scripts and work with the Test Manager to ensure delivery of quality systems
- Review and analyse business processes, re-engineer as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist in the production of a business case that includes options analysed, impact assessments and funding recommendations where required
- Assist in the development of tender documentation
- Work closely with organisational change management team members to ensure the smooth transition of new functionality, and processes to the users

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- The ability to develop business requirements from abstract briefs and prepare functional and non functional specifications with complex or large information systems
- Extensive experience in business process modelling tools and techniques such as BPMN, ARIS/EPC, Use Case modelling utilising tools such as Visio or System Architect
- Extensive experience in the development of instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to use industry standard software testing tools such as MQC, (QTP) and knowledge of testing methodologies
- Proven experience with incorporating functional/non-functional requirements into tender documents
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Government RFT/RFQ processes
