We are looking for a professional BUSINESS ANALYST to join an exciting team with our client, a major bank in Zürich.
- Business requirements gathering and analysis for Position Limit Monitoring and Information Barrier applications.
- Gather, compose, and refine requirements documentation in order to drive various development activities.
- Impact analysis of changes as related to timelines and deliverables.
- Identifies potential problems and leads problem resolution efforts.
- Interact with various business areas and IT departments.
- Write SQL queries, as needed, to perform data analysis.
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts as required.
- Assist in developing and implementation of test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases. - Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process
Qualifications:
- Business Analysis experience (6+ years) with a leading financial services provider.
- Strong understanding of Legal and Compliance functions mainly around position limit monitoring, certain regulatory reporting and monitoring of information barriers
- Broad knowledge of financial services industry including securities, trades and positions
- Evidence of ability to have worked on complex business challenges and pragmatic solutions
- Can think and act globally with strong awareness of cross divisional challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
- Technically proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of SQL and the ability to write queries for data analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in dealing within IT and with end users.
