Business Analyst

My client, a Major Multinational Company, are hiring for the position of BUSINESS ANALYST. This will be based in their state of the art South Dublin Offices. This group are hiring for both permanent resources and long daily rate contracts. Excellent daily rates on offer and a very contract friendly environment await you. You will act as Business Analyst and also in creating and supporting the design build of a brand new global system. You will be managing stakeholders and documenting detailed business requirements as well as high level ICT analysis. You will also manage existing project documentation.

The Role:

- Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
- Provide support in meeting preparation and conduct internal and external related meetings, supporting all communication activities to Stake Holders
- Application of database techniques, forecasting and other required analysis
- Interviews with the business stakeholders to document key business requirements
- Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications through use cases and stories
- Analysing the business current processes and procedure and documenting same into business requirements
- Document and explain complex requirements to developers
- Data analysis for Reporting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Aprox 10 years commercial experience on large scale projects
- Knowledge of the ICT development life cycle
- Excellent documentation writing skills
- Strong Analytical skills for requirements impact analysis
- Good knowledge of RDBMS architecture

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS. Third level (BSc Information Systems) qualification or related discipline is beneficial. CBAP® - Certified Business Analysis Professional or equivalent is beneficial This company can facilitate an immediate start. However, they are happy to accommodate a notice period where necessary.
