We are pleased to recruit an exciting new opportunity as a Business Analyst. This is a new post to work with the Director of Business Strategy and Digital team to define and initiate business and data analysis requirements and support projects as part of on-going broadband delivery. The post will require evaluation of the data collected through research, analysis, business process, surveys, and workshops to investigate potential solutions and present convincing proposals to the client.

The candidate will need to be flexible and proactively operate across the team and stakeholder organisations to collate, model and evaluate data and information. The post holder will be required to present and articulate findings and use data and information to support modelling, funding applications, procurement and other service delivery areas. The role will also be responsible for the population and maintenance of an effective broadband data room for a range of numeric, financial, written and GIS data and information.

The candidate needs to have strong business and data analytical skills, understanding of how data can be mapped, modeled and dynamically used through GIS and other similar systems and be seriously good at finding innovative ways of presenting data back to lots of different audiences. The candidate will have a record of success in developing, delivering and maintaining business solutions, a high standard of literacy and numeracy and strong ICT systems knowledge. A degree or equivalent professional qualification or a number of years' experience in a similar role is desirable, but what is essential is that the candidate has a passion for digital.
