Confers with system users and project team to determine, understand, and document functions and operations to support large scale software releases and new business processes. Assists with development of methodologies, requirements, desktop level procedures, and workflows for implementation of system software releases. 

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions 
1. Leads analysing and determining business needs and documenting requirements. 
2. Understand complex business and technical requirements by interviewing users and observing workflows. 
3. Leads development of design, documentation, and implementation of solutions to business needs. 
4. Assists project manager with status updates, meeting minutes, and project documentation requirements 
5. Serves as primary liaison between customer, vendor, and IT. 
6. Assists with assessing and managing deployment of information systems. 
7. Plans and coordinates end-user testing activities and designs testing strategies to provide data for analyses and evaluation. 
8. Prepares, analyzes, and provides reports for management review of systems applications, cost benefit analysis, program effectiveness, and other studies. 
9. Implements appropriate QA metrics to foster continued quality improvement. 
10. Assists in communicating with other workstreams, departments, and regions to facilitate any cross-functional requriements. 
11. Plans and supports software rollout at various facilities. 
13. Assists with technological and operational learning needs assessment, training requirements. 
14. Aligns systems and processes to organizational standards. Develops technical and operational policies and procedures as related to systems implementation. 

The senior business analyst will be part of a coordinated team executing a very time sensitive and mission critical project. They will report to a project manager responsible for their workstream, as well a program manager and program owner responsible for the overall project. They will be called on to be the primary liaison between their customer and the project, and they must be able to develop a mastery level understanding of the business processes and requirements for their area in a very short time period. They must be very detailed oriented, and senior enough to be able to lead facilitated workshops and other meeting directly with the customer. They will work with the IT department, and must be able to understand detailed business and technical issues as they arise, and concisely explain them to the project and program managers. They will also assist their project manager with status and project plan updates, as well as documentation and communication management for the duration of the project. Experience Level: BA or BS required, plus minimum 3-5 years of direct relevant experience.
