Business Analyst

Manager would like the individual to have working experience managing campaign production using tools like Unica or Epiphany or Aprimo, etc.

AND/OR
Working experience as an analyst for Marketing campaigns using tools like SAS or SQL Server or equivalent.

Summary/Overall Purpose
The Campaign Data Consultant will support and help drive marketing strategies through direct marketing campaigns utilizing analytical insights, research and statistical methods. This position functions both as a consultant and as a high-level data analyst. The position works with clients to develop the right set of questions/hypotheses, using the appropriate tools/skills to derive the best information to address customer needs. This individual should be a critical thinker with the ability to quickly learn business processes and understand how to relate data captured to these processes. The Consultant should be self motivated, flexible, detailed, a strong communicator and a team player.

Major Responsibilities
- Solid experience with CRM and Campaign Management processes and applications
- Set-up and support of campaign production for marketing campaigns
- Campaign optimization and design
- Project Management capabilities to create/manage campaign requests
- Affectively manage multiple campaigns across multiple channels
- Ability to manage campaign requirements and changes throughout the campaign workflow and set expectations appropriately with business owners and management/business partners

Experience
- 5+ years database competence working with one of the following (SQL Server, SAS)
- 3+ years experience with one of the following (Unica Affinium Campaign, ePiphany Campaign Management, Aprimo, Teradata TRM, or other equivalent)
- 3+ years working with Relational Databases and structures
- Strong CRM/Campaign Management experience working in a large environment with multiple campaign channels
- Solid database marketing experience working with campaign strategies and execution
- Strong knowledge of Direct Marketing principles and techniques
- Self motivated
- Successful experience working with and/or consulting marketing professionals on campaign operations and best practices
- Strong PC Application Skills (MS Office, Text Editing Applications)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education/Training
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
