This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2013. Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.
In this role, you will work as a Business Analyst with the Upstream IT team to work on a new production data management Datawarehouse project. This particular BA will be technical and data savvy so as to be able to help build out this Datawarehouse for production management.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 8+ years of IT Business Analysis experience [lil Upstream Oil and Gas experience (ideally in Production Management/Operations domain)
- Project experience with Field Data Capture systems (eg PVR, Fieldview, etc.)
- Proven experience with data architecture/mapping, data flow diagrams, erds, master data management, BO reports, ETL, etc.
- Proficiency and experience with MS Visio and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with the use of MS Project, Livelink, SharePoint would be beneficial
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well developed team skills with a collaborative work style
- Process oriented with ability to discuss, advise, coordinate and document processes
- Strong organizational skills (especially as it relates to prioritizing and managing multiple tasks)
- Solid analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills with ability to solve problems and balance varying needs.
