Business Analyst

My client is a large government organization seeking a technical Business Analyst/Test Analyst to focus on the business analysis activities during the Scoping and Initiation stages of the project and to focus on Quality Assurance during further stages of the project in accordance to the BA and SDLC Frameworks.

Formal BA training is mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with the Project Manager in the Business Analysis Planning, assessing stakeholders, deliverables, business analysis tasks and estimates
- Elicit Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and Technical Requirements, prepare the Business Requirement Document including functional, non-functional and data requirements.
- Develop Application Development Test Strategies with along with relevant stakeholders
- Develop Application Development Use Cases and UAT Plans, UAT Cases
- Ensure high quality of requirements specification is available during the stages of the Project/SDLC
- Asses Change Request during application development life cycle
- Contribute to enterprise architecture development from a business needs point of view
- Maintain a treatment/remediation plan for applications eg retiring, updating and rolling upgrades and related issues
- Collaborate with business units, other MoH Branches, Health Support Services, and vendors.
- Prepare the Risk Management Strategy and manage project risks and mitigation activities
- Understand and identify application integration points

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in Application/Systems (SDLC) development projects
- Sound knowledge of Business Analysis including BABOK
- Ability to identify and manage the risks in Application/Systems development
- Demonstrated experience as a test analyst developing Test Strategies, Test Plans and Test Cases
- Ability to analyse data and map processes (current state/future state)
- Experience with Windows .NET Architecture/Framework Development
- Experience using UML would be highly regarded
