Job Summary:

- This position provides the primary bridge between business strategy and systems solution delivery, concentrating in one or many business areas supported by the Oracle EBS, Manufacturing, and Business Intelligence applications.
- The Senior Business Analyst gains an understanding of CLIENT'S business goals, strategy and requirements by communicating with all levels of the business.
- The Analyst documents requirements then designs and implements system solutions on a regional or local basis that help achieve business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Take leadership in identifying business stakeholders and areas of impact.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Obtain approval and business sign-off on requirements.
- Document functional requirements and assist with the design of technical requirements as input for a dedicated development staff.
- Participate independently and with other resources in the system development life cycle, including testing and documentation of new or upgraded application functionality.
- Participate in problem resolution activities.
- Be able to make recommendations for changes in CLIENT'S's applications to support changes in business process or new requirements.
- Complete impact assessments that outline the technical impact of new functionality and enhancements.
- Model Use Cases.
- Create and maintain requirements traceability.
- Research and identify opportunities for the business to distinguish itself as a leader in the manufacturing industry.
- Research the manufacturing industry to identify leading examples and best-in-class implementations.
- Schedule, coordinate, prepare and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
- Assist in the peer review of team member requirements for completeness and accuracy.
- Act as lead facilitator of requirements prioritization sessions.
- Drive solutions across stakeholders (primarily Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources and
- Operations).
- Lead the development and refining of standards, best practices and operating principles specific to the Business Analyst role in CLIENT'S.
- Develop and deliver training programs, advice and leadership for Business Analysts in other geographical or functional areas to develop their skills and abilities.
- Research skills-related trends and facilitate professional development efforts regarding business analysis, evolving the competency as a strategic, value-add position for CLIENT'S.
