Business Analyst

The successful candidate will need to have a proven skills including: strong business experience, strategic partnership and demonstrated success in managing offshore vendors. This position someone who has specialized in offshore vendor management and governance.

Essential Functions:
CD BIO offshore and alternative sourcing strategies and operations
Strategic alignment of the CD BIO program with the IT Executive Council (ITEC)
Assist in the execution of IT Strategy for offshore and alternative sourcing programs
Provides strategic direction to create value from partnership with off shore and alternative sourcing vendors
Oversight for the off-shore and alterative sourcing operations, including: application support; enhancements; new development; and testing for applications across CD BIO
Oversight for all off shore IT operations for all IT groups within the CD BIO Organization
Responsible for oversight and coordination of regional and CD BIO wide Statements of Work (SOW) optimizing SOW performance for full utilization of capacity across the organization.
Lead offshore Vendor and SOW Governance
Active Partnership with Client: Off-Shore Vendor Management Office and Procurement groups
Monthly Recharge to each operational group for offshore and alternative sourcing programs
Reporting for CD BIO offshore and alternative sourcing programs
Driving standard metrics, reporting, performance standards across the multiple IT groups that make up CD BIO
Publish consistent and relevant operational metrics.
Resolving escalations and performance issues.
Reporting of quality metrics for CD BIO offshore and alternative sourcing programs
Manages and monitors metrics to ensure SLA of delivery.
Reduce repetitive incidents by ensuring thorough root cause analysis is performed and permanent fixes are implemented according to proper process.
Operate with standard, well documented ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem and Service Request Management.

Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of IT/IS related experience in large fortune 500 corporations with many
diverse lines of business.
A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in following
areas: planning, budget/financial management, and staffing.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outsource services organization providing
application services
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with off shore and managed service vendors
Strong skills to successfully perform the strategy planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities
Extensive experience working with cross-functional and global IT teams, business users and vendors.
Consistent ability to set and deliver against a work plan in a fast-paced environment, giving attention to detail even under high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled at cross cultural communications and management
Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external relationships that ensure the successful delivery of IT services
Operational experience and understanding of the financial process and principles
Preferred experience in healthcare either on the clinical side or Health Insurance
Knowledge of CMM/I process improvement methodology, test management principles and practices
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, decision making, problem solving, project management, negotiation, customer service and Microsoft Office skills
Strategic business management and organizational planning skills
Ability to build relationships, and foster a cooperative work environment with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to build consensus and to work through others in achieving desired results and objectives
