A leading company based in Tasmania requires 3 X BUSINESS ANALYSTS FOR 6 MONTH PLUS CONTRACTS BASED IN THEIR HOBART HEAD OFFICE.

This role will see you provide analytical support to a fast-paced program, delivering insights and recommendations for commercial data functions and to the business.

The focus is on data analysis of a large set of software applications and their varying attributes/relationships to support transition of the same to a new business model.

ON A DAILY BASIS THE ROLE WILL SEE YOU;

- Utilise business analysis toolkit and ensure appropriate use of methodologies
- Analyse business requirements
- Assess the impact of change on systems and communicate the impact to business and technical audiences
- Document business functional and technical requirements
- Business process mapping
- Collaborate with business architects and analysts in order to continually improve processes, understanding of the business, and improve team camaraderie

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE;

- In-depth knowledge of the utility industry in a deregulated environment in one or more of the following:
- Retail (billing)
- Distribution (market systems)
- Infrastructure (hardware and server platforms)
- Data/merger acquisition activities - Excellent Communication skills, strong ability to converse with both end-users, technology staff at all levels of the organization and third-party vendors
- Ability to discuss the application service delivery cycles and capture information through workshops, interviews and existing documentation

An excellent daily rate is on offer for the successful candidate.
