Buisness Analysts

Long term contract opportunities are available for multiple experienced BUSINESS ANALYSTS to join a number of high profile projects and initiatives in the CBD.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for providing assistance in process analysis, comprehending business requirements and providing guidance in methods and techniques.

DUTIES:

Design, create and update business process maps using Microsoft Visio

Develop business requirement documentation for key stakeholders

Ensure business process flow workshops are effectively conducted and recorded

Facilitate process mapping

Provide advice and assistance in the development and documentation of business processes and requirements

Provide input into Business Impact Register(s)

Document user stories

Report status, issues and risks

YOUR BACKGROUND:

Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally, but not restricted to, working within a government agency to create business process flows that reflect current and future state - As-Is and To-Be

Tertiary qualifications in BABOK or project management methodologies will be highly regarded

A successful track record in medium to large projects in excess of $10M

Proven experience with MS Visio preferably with knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and industry accepted methodologies including Agile (Scrum). Microsoft Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong process analysis skills

Demonstrated experience working within integration projects

Experience with XML schemas

Experience with data mapping

High level communication skills, facilitation skills and report writing and documentation skills

Strong stakeholder management skills

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
