Building Services Engineer - Mechanical
Location: Cumbria
Rate: £31.98ph Ltd, 37 hours per week
6 month contract
Start: ASAP

Working for an established company, the ideal applicant will be required to manage and own mechanical building services engineering tasks within a multi-disciplined construction team in accordance with company procedures.

This will include;

*To undertake activities within a multi discipline design team delivering infrastructure solutions for new facilities
*Building services design typically; outline design and design management.
*Report writing, development of employers requirements
*Day to day engineering guidance to projects.
*Ensure effective delivery of projects in accordance with contract technical schedule and budget requirements.
*Support team in matters of technical understanding and areas of own expertise.
*Work within the engineering frameworks set out by engineering management.
*Responsible for ensuring all statutory, regulatory and customer SHE policies are complied with.
*Responsible for compliance with security policies.

Qualifications
*Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline eg Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
*Chartered Engineer (MCIBSE/MIMechE) would be desirable but not essential
*Experience of working in mechanical building services engineering preferably in industrial/military sectors would be desirable.
*Good IT skills including Excel, Word and preferably MS Project.
*Good organisation and communication skills.
*Good report writing skills
*Good working experience across project life cycle phases
*Experience of working on customer sites or in customer facing role.
*Previous experience working on a defence or MOD site would be an advantage.
