Projektbeschreibung

We are seeking a Building Control Team Administrator to work at Heathrow airport. Core hours are from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, occasional extended hours may be required to deliver against the active workload.

Many of the activities covered involve direct contact with clients from Heathrow, its suppliers and
partners, and in most cases require access to content within the Building Control system. It is
therefore important that any individuals involved with this service have excellent interpersonal skills
and a strong customer focus.

Duties will include -

The receipt and registration of Building Control assurance applications on appropriate
systems, including production of appropriate electronic and paper files and documentation.
Processing of payments for building control services, including liaison with the BSC to
identify payments and resolve queries as appropriate.
Liaison with customers on payment or administrative queries relating to applications.
Management of incoming and outgoing post and documentation as appropriateReceipt and collation of time records from staff for charging purposes
Production of regular and ad-hoc reports on service and business performance (including
monthly performance packs, board packs, capitalisation records)
Management of BCS archiving, including recording content of archives, arranging collection
and return as necessary
Maintenance of appropriate legislative reference documentation (Regulations and
associated guidance documents, Knights Law Guides, etc.)
Production and management of requisitions, purchase orders and ad-hoc cheque payments
Co-ordination of site inspection and witness testing requests as required
Attendance at project or ad-hoc meetings, and production of minutes as required
Management (validation, receipting upon approval) of supplier invoicing for support
services provided to LHR BCS
General administrative support to BCS team members

Essential Experience/Skills:

Excellent knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills and customer focus
Ability to take notes & produce minutes, etc.
Good working knowledge of Sharepoint (BCS-specific use of Sharepoint will be given)
Good working knowledge of Document Management

Desired Experience/Skills:

Knowledge of Building Control practice and administration
Knowledge of Heathrow IT systems (My Heathrow, etc.)
Experience of working within an ISO9001 quality management environment
